Inman aligners are a fast way of moving your front teeth into a more desirable position. Your dentist may offer them to you as an alternative to Invisalign, which are virtually invisible braces. However, they are more limited in the movement they can achieve, and are only really suitable for correcting misalignments, and only on the upper or lower front teeth. Also, they are not quite invisible, as they have a visible metal bar showing across the front teeth. They are not so widely available as other orthodontic methods, so some dentists in Kent may not be able to fit you with them. Despite these downsides, Inman aligners can be very effective, and are removable so you don’t need to wear them to eat. They work by a system of springs that push and pull the teeth into place.
Why get Inman Aligners?
Inman aligners are cheaper than Invisalign braces, which for a lot of people compensates for the visible metal bar. You can also get a much quicker result, from between six and sixteen weeks, depending on how long you wear them each day (your dentist will probably recommend a twenty hour minimum). You also only need one aligner for the whole treatment.
