Apparently Botox injections are not only for the superficial. That is not to say that everyone who gets Botox is image obsessed. Certainly many Botox clients who came to clinic are not only looking to have a better appearance but are seeking a viable option to improve their image and self-esteem. During my clinic classes, when I took many a Botox training course, we learned about these clients. First let me say a little bit about a case I studied as part of my dermal filler training courses and requirements. Her name was Elizabeth. She had raised a teenage daughter from a previous marriage. She had also been in a somewhat short second marriage with a very difficult divorce. Her divorce had taken a toll on her face and it was no surprise, her second husband was getting the house instead of her. She didn’t look her best, needless to say. She was not very old at all but the years of difficult divorces, of raising a teen and of dealing with infidelity had left their mark on her. Her unhappiness really showed. She had premature wrinkles and a permanent look of angst on her face.
She looked like she was in her mid-fifties but was only 43. Elizabeth went in for Botox injections shortly after her second divorce. You guessed it. Four months later she was dating again. Her new beau was a man much younger than her and her face had no trace of the worry lines she had previously displayed. This is just one story of success and I have many more to draw inspiration from since I took the Botox training course. It is for this reason that I am doing what I do now, to help change the lives of people. This might be a tiny needle but it can have a pretty significant impact on people.
