WHAT IS A MATTRESS?

A mattress is nothing but a pad or a mat, which is basically placed on the top of ones bed to sleep or lie down. The word mattress is Arabic word which means to throw or a mat or a cushion. This mattress can be placed directly on the floor also but is usually placed on a platform for more comfort. In olden day’s mattress were made from straw and feathers but now a day the modern mattresses like the handmade mattress, luxury mattress and the bespoke mattress are made from the materials like the latex, viscoelastic, or any types of polyurethane foams.
